As planned in the presentation (Feb 04), I'd like to try and read DEM data (mostly from USGS) for agent testing. Some of it is available@ GIS Data Depot & ADTI-US or even 3DEM's home. The
VTerrains DEM page seems a decent starting point for learning about DEMs. There's also the USGS guide
